Helixrack LLC is a small, operator-led colocation company in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The people who review a configuration also own the receiving, network, hardware, and customer handoffs behind it.
Company
From operating testbed to Helixrack LLC.
The team began preparing the first room in October 2022, brought an operating testbed online in November, and published the first Helixrack site on November 19, 2022. The first customer server went live on January 15, 2023, and Helixrack LLC was organized in New Jersey on November 15, 2023.
The legal structure changed as the operating record matured; customer ownership did not. The accepted quote, custody record, facility assignment, and authorized work order continue to define each handoff.

Rack fit, power, cooling, network, weight, access, and maintenance needs are considered together before receiving instructions are issued.
Record what was assigned.
The customer handoff identifies the approved machine, facility-side assignments, completed checks, service start, and any open follow-up.
Keep authority visible.
Customers control their systems and workloads. Physical work is performed only within an agreed scope, stop condition, and completion check.
The name
The Helix Rack gave the company its name.
On November 12, 2022, the team recovered a damaged cabinet with a double-helix pattern cut into its side panel. During repair it became known simply as the Helix Rack, and the name stayed when the cabinet joined the operating floor.
The current mark combines that helical line with the outline of a server cabinet. It is a direct reference to the rack, not an abstract brand story added later.

October 2022
The first Elizabeth room was prepared for an operating testbed.
November 2022
The first rack became an operating testbed, the Helix Rack supplied the name, and the first public site and journal went live.
January 2023
The first customer-owned server completed intake, installation, and customer handoff.
November 2023
Helixrack LLC was organized in New Jersey without changing customer ownership of installed hardware.
July 2024
Facility work received a clearer request-to-closeout owner as the operating footprint grew.
January 2025
Helixrack marked two years of operating customer hardware in Elizabeth.
